Well we've really been missing in action from the blog. I apologize for that, but we've been busy knitting new products, and working on the new site design... every year I work on the site, and then I rework it, and I never put it online. This coming January get ready for a totally new look to the site. I have begun really finalizing the design with the help of my web-designing husband, and it will go live after Christmas! Too risky to switch before the holidays, but I am really looking forward to the change. It suits the look and feel of our company much more. In the mean time, I listed a couple items in our etsy shop, and will be adding more this weekend. The photo above is a scarf just listed in our etsy shop. If you have ordered Christmas Stockings in October or November, rest assured we are knitting our way through the list and ALL orders we have received so far this year will be ready in time for this Christmas! Most custom orders take about 3 weeks, but this time of the year, the list is considerably longer. Thank you all for your orders! Our newest product - knit herringbone pillows with a bright fabric back! We LOVE these and think you will too. They will soon be featured in our shop, in both down and regular fiberfill options. We can applique these as well for an added touch of personilation. Look for them soon on our site when we unveil the whole line of wool knit pillows and other home goods.

EVERYBODY NEEDS A COZY CABLED THROW

Just wanted to show the beautiful cabled throw in a soft turquise color. It's so pretty with the red of the winterberries, and so cozy on a gloomy day like today. Usually, our little dog is curled up in the chair by the window, and sometimes he's so cute I let him share my wonderful blanket! He's so lucky. I am working on some little herringbone and houndstooth sweaters for him. I will be sure to post his modeling debut when his sweaters are finished!

I'm really excited about these. We are going to do them in some really fun color combinations, so look for them in the shop soon. This pattern will also soon be available on stockings, and we are also going to be introducing some entirely different product lines soon that the houndstooth will be a part of. This is not currently a product we offer through Chapeau Co, as it is not knit... However, it is an extention of the same applique style we do the scarves in, and we are looking to add these in the near future. This was a little baby shower gift for my dear friend. Can't wait to meet the little one! If you want to order one, the cost will be $78.00 and we will customize the applique! The little hoodies come in brown as shown, black, navy, olive green, baby pink, and white.

New packaging has been in the works the past few weeks, getting ready for the Christmas season. I will be posting some pictures of our new product bags, as well as the printed ribbon we just got for labels in the stockings. These are the tags all bundled ready to be put on a huge order of custom hats ready to ship out for Beval's saddlery. Along with being a knitter, I am a letterpress printer, so it comes in handy when we need these sorts of things.
